AAI Didulani, who successfully completed the first phase of the short course “Investigating tobacco industry interference on public health policies and actions”, successfully commenced the second phase on 26th May 2026.

She initiated discussions with 60 students of Bulugahatenna Maha Vidyalaya in Ratnapura District at the school premises and with 20 students of the Dombagammana Children’s Society in Nivitigala at the Dombagammana Community Hall. The tobacco industry tactics were discussed in parallel with World No Tobacco Day on May 31. The way to raise awareness among the parents and the community to counter the tobacco industry interference was further discussed.
